We just wrote a post about I Know Why No, Aino Vainio’s clothes label.

Here’s her collaboration with musician Jaakko Eino Kalevi & Kennel Helsinki director Miikka Lommi. Love it.

LCMDF are Emma (22) and Mia (20) Kemppainen, two sisters from Helsinki. Their music and live shows are a lot of fun. They just published a new music video, which is nice.
Unfortunately embedding the video from Youtube is disabled, so you have CLICK HERE TO WATCH LCMDF Gandhi ON YOUTUBE
Here are some of their earlier videos:
This one’s just the track, but it’s a good tune:
Here’s their myspace
Young finnish athletes, a couple of drinks, uphill snowboarding, some Helsinki scenery and a couple of mountains (obviously not from Finland) = Euro Gap 3 by Pablo Films. This video is quite great. Unfortunately there was something wrong with embedding Vimeo videos, so just click here to see the film.

Snowboarding at cruch steps in central Helsinki
Last week the Finnish music pros announced their picks the most promising Finnish musicians.
The first one is Huoratron. That stands for whoretron. This is not the freshest piece from that Gameboy musician, but the video is still pretty good.
We give him extra points for looking like famous Finnish cross country skier Juha Mieto.

Mietaatron
The other one is a bit softer. Shine 2009. Some more on their myspace. They don’t look like any of our athletes, but we let them pass as their music has some merit.
This short video by Studio Julmahuvi is a crash course to Finnish culture. Some of it may be lost in translation.
‘From frosty grounds to the icy lands’
Today we love bicycles. A nice track by Helsinki 78-82 and a video directed by Miika Saksi, published early this year. It’s just cruising in Helsinki. Helsinki 78-82 is a project by some Top Billin guys.
