LCMDF formerly known as Le Corps Mince De Francoise has released new music. To be more specific it’s their album Love and Nature. 10 points and a bear stamp = We like.

LCMDF - Love and Nature

Gonna make some eggs now.

We just wrote a post about I Know Why No, Aino Vainio’s clothes label.

Here’s her collaboration with musician Jaakko Eino Kalevi & Kennel Helsinki director Miikka Lommi. Love it.

LCMDF are Emma (22) and Mia (20) Kemppainen, two sisters from Helsinki. Their music and live shows are a lot of fun. They just published a new music video, which is nice.

Unfortunately embedding the video from Youtube is disabled, so you have CLICK HERE TO WATCH LCMDF Gandhi ON YOUTUBE

Here are some of their earlier videos:

This one’s just the track, but it’s a good tune:

Here’s their myspace

Last week the Finnish music pros announced their picks the most promising Finnish musicians.

The first one is Huoratron. That stands for whoretron. This is not the freshest piece from that Gameboy musician, but the video is still pretty good.

We give him extra points for looking like famous Finnish cross country skier Juha Mieto.

Mietaatron

The other one is a bit softer. Shine 2009. Some more on their myspace. They don’t look like any of our athletes, but we let them pass as their music has some merit.

Today we love bicycles. A nice track by Helsinki 78-82 and a video directed by Miika Saksi, published early this year. It’s just cruising in Helsinki. Helsinki 78-82 is a project by some Top Billin guys.

Here is some finnish music we like. A lot. Femme en Fourrure. We can only say, ah sweet.

Ok. You get the drift. Listen and like. Here is their myspace.

For anyone who has lived in a small Finnish town this video makes perfect sense. Ramin Kuntopolku is an urban grind duo from Jyväskylä and this is a video from their first tour. You don’t need to understand Finnish to get the drift.

Villa Nah’s debut album is not as recent as you might expect to see in a blog post but we only started and still after several months we really like them. They are a Helsinki based act recording on legendary Sähkö Recordings.

Check more of their stuff on Villa Nah’s myspace.

P.s. If you are a fan of hit tracks this is theirs.

I Was A Teenage Satan Worshipper, dir. Teemu Niukkanen / Kennel Helsinki

We think this video directed by our dear friend Teemu is super good. Sometimes our taste might be too biased to prove anything, but now it’s also official. Week ago IWATSW’s video Amsterdamned won the grand prize for the best Finnish music video 2010 at Oulu Music Video Festival. Not only the video is great but the band is too! Here’s their myspace page. Here’s their official website.

Ps. I’m that girl with the big glasses.
