We don’t know which should be the main subject of the post – the blog or the band – but for those of you who don’t know Uusi Fantasia, get to know their music. Reason: It’s beyond ok. Get to know here.

And then about the Off The Record blog and their latest post.

According to themselves:

“Off The Record is independent live music / short film video blog…Bands are invited to play short, mainly acoustic Off The Record session in some unique place such as bowling alley, museum, sailing boat, gym, market place cafeteria, sauna, fan’s apartment…”

Their latest post is pretty unarming.

It’s Uusi Fantasia playing live in a sports hall in Helsinki, with a Finnish old school singer Freeman. This time they sing in Finnish, but if you have limited skills with that, we think this might still be quite nice.

Gonna make some eggs now.

Great pics of classic Finnish design in Artek Open Archives. Have a look! Terrible flash-site unfortunately not loyal to the design principles of the company…

A short video about the two iconic brands together. We approve this collaboration. Might get a pair or two.

Have you had a look at this already? CTRL’s FW10 LOOKBOOK, Groundhog day collection. It has a brilliant look lookwise + the clothes look great. Take a look! Looks good! How do you think it looks?

We just wrote a post about I Know Why No, Aino Vainio’s clothes label.

Here’s her collaboration with musician Jaakko Eino Kalevi & Kennel Helsinki director Miikka Lommi. Love it.

LCMDF are Emma (22) and Mia (20) Kemppainen, two sisters from Helsinki. Their music and live shows are a lot of fun. They just published a new music video, which is nice.

Unfortunately embedding the video from Youtube is disabled, so you have CLICK HERE TO WATCH LCMDF Gandhi ON YOUTUBE

Here are some of their earlier videos:

This one’s just the track, but it’s a good tune:

Designer Aino Vainio, who’s behind the I Know Why No – collection, must be really poor, since all her clothes seem to have holes in them.

Her designs are pretty cool and so are the photos. Very Finnish.

Pictures are from different collections. Idea for the post is stolen from liisajokinen.com. Thanks again!

If you’re one of the 11 million +++ players of Angry Birds here’s probably not much new to you. We just wanted to introduce this iPhone blockbuster by a Finnish game developer Rovio. It’s been the no1 paid app in 67 countries, including UK, Singapore, Hong Kong, Indonesia and US, where it held the top position for almost half a year. So…umm…that’s about it. Cool game.

This is the game that proved to be pretty addictive:
